And people don’t always shop online at home or with their earphones plugged in - so you can’t depend too much hearing. But this is no reason to despair:  Did you know that up to 80% of our perception is determined by sight? And you can compensate senses such as touch and hearing via sight. 
Imagine you see a photo of a hand-poured candle and there is a slice of an orange lying next to it. You know how an orange smells. And although you can’t smell the candle on the photo, you know how this candle smells, don’t you? Or there is a photo of a thick knitted blanket. The details are so good that you can see the amazing texture and how delicate and soft the wool looks. And because you know how a soft knitted blanket feels, this photo will immediately evoke a feeling of warmth and comfort.
